Bill Clinton admires Epstein’s ‘childlike curiosity’
The revelation comes amid renewed political tensions, with President Donald Trump and top Democrats trading blame over their past associations with Epstein, who died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.
Clinton’s note reportedly read: “It’s reassuring isn’t it, to have lasted as long, across all the years of learning and knowing, adventures and [illegible], and also to have your childlike curiosity, the drive to make a difference and the solace of friends.”
The album also featured messages from several high-profile figures, including billionaire Leon Black, designer Vera Wang, and media executive Mort Zuckerman.
Clinton’s spokesperson declined to comment on the message but reiterated that the former president had cut ties with Epstein well before his arrest and had no knowledge of his alleged criminal activities.
A previous WSJ report revealed that Donald Trump had also contributed to the same album, including a drawing of a nude woman. Trump has since filed a defamation lawsuit in response.
Meanwhile, politicians on both sides have accused the Department of Justice and FBI of hiding key information, particularly Epstein’s alleged client list. Officials maintain there was no foul play in Epstein’s death, officially ruled a suicide. Trump claims the ongoing controversy is politically motivated and aimed at undermining him.
